11 Feb Digital Leaders Coding at Urswick
Queensbridge Digital Leaders have been learning to code at Urswick Secondary School using Python. Python is a clear and powerful object-oriented programming language.
During these sessions they have been learning to:
Evaluate the effectiveness of speech recognition technology such as Siri
Create a computer program that can reply to questions much like ‘Siri’
Identify and debug syntax errors in Python programs
Create Variables using Integers and Strings
Yesterday was sadly our last session with Oktay Shabaz who leads Computing at Urswick but the children were delighted to receive Python certificates and a little shopping treat for Wesfield each as well! We look forward to welcoming Mr Shabaz to our school next half term when he will be joining in with our Y5 NX3/EV3 robotics workshops!
