Celebrating Chess success

Our QB chess players proudly represented us at Chess Fest today, joining 150 children from 15 schools for an exciting day of chess.
The event featured lessons from CSC tutors, simultaneous games against a chess master, consultation games on giant sets, a tournament against their peers — and a special visit from the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, whom we had the chance to meet!
All our children played brilliantly, and we are incredibly proud of every one of them. They showed true camaraderie and embodied our QB values throughout the day.
A special congratulations to our youngest player in Year 2, who brought home a gold medal! Well done! 👏♟️🏅
