Our main aim is for our children to be happy in our school and learn effectively

with mutual respect, kindness and responsibility.

We pride ourselves in the opportunities that we give them to explore and develop

their talents, inspireand motivate, so that they flourish yet are challenged whilst

developing skills that will enable them to take off and fly!

 

Since the pandemic, we strive relentlessly to ensure the children’s mental and physical well-being is effectively supported: personal development, getting them to move more actively and eat more healthily. 

 

All voices are heard here at Queensbridge. We are all valued- children, staff and families. We encourage a healthy attitude towards life and learning. Learning is for a lifetime.

 

We are innovative, aspirational and consistent in our holistic approach, constantly reflecting on our practice. We try to make learning fun, creative, stimulating and inclusive with lots of discussion and challenge, setting ambitious goals for the future.

 

As a National Support School (and until 31 August 2021 a National Teaching School) we support others and acknowledge the importance of contributing to the wider society beyond the school gates–  in both the physical and virtual worlds. The school aims to ensure that its pupils and staff develop as global citizens in order that they are able to seize and shape the world that awaits them.

 

We have a highly experienced staff team which means consistency and stability for our children year on year with a wealth of knowledge about how children learn best. We have success of ‘growing’ our own teachers and developing pioneering practice across all Key Stages.
